I don't know how many of you visit Cnet.com regularly, but I know everyone's been there at one point or another (in some way, shape, or form). Whether it's download.com, cnet news, cnet reviews, or even cnet-tv. It's pretty much a hub of not only news in technology, but just in everyday happenings. The 404 though, is an amazing show I happen to watch daily. The hosts, Jeff Bakalar, Wilson Tang, and Justin Yu, are some of the funniest people I've seen on the internet and they have a way of feeding off of eachother. It's something I would recommend to anyone wanting a good laugh, even if you're not tech savvy.
So Check Out The 404 Podcast, (Weekdays @ 11:00 AM EST) and if you like it check out their Other Shows,
In other news, HP is suing former CEO Mark Hurd.
"Court documents filed Tuesday morning in California's Santa Clara County show that HP is accusing its former CEO of breach of contract and threatened misappropriation of trade secrets."

Only one day after the announcement of his new employment at Oracle as the new vice president, HP announced a lawsuit for apparently revealing trade secrets. The suit stated ...
"Despite being paid millions of dollars in cash, stock, and stock options in exchange for Hurd's agreements to protect HP's trade secrets and confidential information during his employment and following his departure from his positions at HP as chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and president, HP is informed and believes and thereon alleges that Hurd has put HP's most valuable trade secrets and confidential information in peril."

I wonder how this is gonna play out. We'll have to wait and see I guess. For more info head over to CNET and check out their article.
Anyone subscribed to any podcasts, any on cnet? name them. Any opinions on the HP/Mark Hurd suit? You know what to do.

ReplyDeleteI mean he IS working for another company, but I dont think he will lose the case in court.

ReplyDeleteyup, i read about this. should be very interesting. if you're undecided on who's side to be on, check the stock price at HP before Hurd, and after. Up, baby up. He was nothing but good to HP valuation.
